Visit Colyton - 'Devon’s most rebellious town'! Soak up the history of this quaint Saxon town located in East Devon AONB.
My property is about 100m from Market Square in the centre of Colyton and provides the perfect base for exploring Devon and Dorset including the world renowned Jurassic Coast.
The flat has recently been renovated.
The flat is on the first floor and accessed via its own private entrance on the ground floor.
Once upstairs you are in a spacious, open-plan living space with a comfortable lounge area with a wall-mounted smart TV. A dining table with 4 chairs occupies the other end of the living space and the well-equipped kitchen, sits off to the side.
Bedroom one has a double bed and plenty of hanging and drawer space. This room also features an en-suite shower and toilet
Bedroom two is adjacent to bedroom one and to the rear of the property, this room has a king sized bed (as standard) which can be split into 2 small singles if required (*prior notice will be required). This bedroom has a wardrobe and access to a small balcony with a table and two chairs. This balcony also provides a fire escape.
The main bathroom has a shower, wash basin, and toilet and also houses the washer/dryer.
Standard check-in time is 4pm onwards, and check-out time is before 10am. There is an additional fee of £50-£100 for keys being lost or damaged. A stair gate is installed and a travel cot is available within the property.

Parties are strictly prohibited. Smoking/vaping and the use of candles prohibited. Please remove outdoor footwear and leave in the porch. Extra guests are not allowed unless advised otherwise. Respect for neighbours is highly appreciated. Keep the noise down between 10pm and 7am. This is your home away from home, please care for it as such. Please make sure to lock the door and close all the windows when leaving the property.

Kerens place is very well equipped. We slept very well in the comfy beds and enjoyed having the extra bathroom. The village is charming, and only a short walk from a lovely deli and the old tram stop.

Great location and comfortable stay. Positive: Ideal position for exploring the area - easy walking distance to the tram to Seaton and lots of walks nearby. The property was clean and well appointed. Negative: The only thing that was missing was bedside lights in the master bedroom. There were spots above the bed, but these were too bright.

Practical modern apartment in the middle of the village Positive: Very practically laid out, well equipped kitchen, good private parking in the middle of the village and good WiFi too. Negative: The very small basin in the small bedroom ensuite is not ideal. I found the bed and pillows too soft in the big bedroom, others will like.
