WalksThe Undercliff
Lyme Regis to Seaton. A wild, jungle-like walk through a landslip nature reserve between Lyme Regis and Seaton.
Between Lyme Regis and Axmouth, the South West Coast Path runs through the Undercliffs National Nature Reserve: about seven miles of dense woodland that has grown over centuries of landslips. It feels a world away from the beaches either side.
There's no way off the path between the two ends, so allow most of a day, wear good boots, and check the path is open before you set off: it's sometimes closed after landslips.
