The museum stands on the site of the house where Mary Anning, the pioneering fossil hunter, was born and lived. Inside you'll find fossils from the local cliffs, the story of her discoveries, and the history of the town.

The museum also runs guided fossil walks on the beach: a great way to learn what to look for.
