Lacy Daze, Colyton

A very beautifully presented flat. Decorated lovely and everything felt very clean and fresh. Equipped with everything you may need in the kitchen. And parking for 1 right outside the door. Was really nice, spacious and airy too flat. The little balcony was cute and we enjoyed sitting out there in the evening sun, chatting to a lovely local man and his son about the local area. 😀. The village is small and very quaint. A lovely calm and peaceful area. Would definitely stay again. Also answered a couple a queries promptly prior to visit. Many thanks.

Colyton Apartment Positive: Lovely apartment in a quaint village, close to many beautiful beaches. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds/furnishings. 2 bathrooms with toiletries provided. Plenty of clean towels and crisp white bedding. Good communication with the hosts. Negative: Outlook from the balcony not very pleasant and frequent noise from the local buiding site.

We followed another reviewers recommendation and went to The Kingfisher Public house two evenings running as the food was excellent and it was obviously very popular and had a restaurant and outside seating at the back in the garden. You could walk to everything and it had a local shop and pharmacy, et cetera - for morning breakfast we found a place called The Garden Room which was also Wonderful for food and little knickknacks ( local crafts plants jams). We went to Seaton Beach which had walkways on which was quite handy and the sandy beach we went to was Sidmouth and had a very nice day there and a swim. We were able to park in a car park right down near the beach) We were only away for a few nights but we felt well rested afterwards and Keren‘s place was perfect lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Brilliant showers and two bathrooms. I would definitely recommend going there we shall book again.

We enjoyed our stay although the weather was extremely hot. Tasteful decor, very clean and tidy. Nice to have ice cubes and icepacks in the freezer.

Had a very nice stay in Keren's appartment. Very responsive and friendly host. All details listed are correct. Local shops and pubs are a few minutes walk away. Access to the appartment is very easy via a lockbox and private parking is literally by the front door. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

A lovely place to stay and explore the interesting and welcoming town of Colyton and beyond. Positive: The property was easy to find. The facilities were perfect for our 2 night getaway. We were able to explore the town as well as easily travel on the Tram into Seaton and the wetlands. The place was clean and well equipped with all we needed to allow us to self cater for our time there. Negative: Nothing comes to mind

We had a lovely break here. The place was great and had just what we needed. Parking space is right outside the front door. Colyton is a really lovely, quiet town (village) with a fab pub in the Kingfisher Arms; good beer, varied pub grub and good for kids and dogs, even has skittles alley and bowls. Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Seaton and Beer are all nearby and great for fossil hunting and more!

What a super lovely clean home for our recent 3 day stay! We really love the open plan space which was more than adequate for us and our two boys. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommended and would stay again if we were ever in the area.

We stayed in Cloyton to be close to friends we were visiting. it was ideally located to them, we'll certainly book again.

We had a brilliant couple of days! The house was spotless and had everything we needed. It’s perfect for two couples, with two bathrooms making it really convenient. The location was excellent — there are a couple of pubs nearby (one serves amazing food, but best to book ahead!) and a lovely Tapas restaurant. There’s also a small shop close by for any extras you might need.

Keren's place is a wonderful place. Just as it was described. The surrounding area is very quiet as Colyton is a quaint little village. If you like walking as much as we do, then you will what this place has to offer, which is beautiful scenic walks around English countryside.

Positive: Good location, spacious and clean apartment. The kitchen is well equipped. Negative: The shower pressure in the small room was not very good. It was slow.

Would stay in Colyton again in this apartment. Discovered the get on get off vintage tram to Seaton, passing through wetlands. This is close to a lovely café and deli by the river. Superb butchers and fishmonger, nice pubs and the Colyton amateur dramatic group are very good. Easy access to Beer, Sidmouth, Lyme Regis etc. The apartment was very easy to find and whilst described as cosy, we were pleasantly surprised that the place was relativelt spacious for the 3 people staying. Everywhere was very clean and nicely decorated.

Lovely and clean apartment in Colyton Positive: Really cosy, clean and well equipped apartment that feels like home and is better in real life than the pictures on booking.com. It is situated in a quiet village, Colyton, really close to Seaton and Lyme Regis. We enjoyed our stay. Negative: No sound proofing, as we could hear the neighboors while in the living room/kitchen. Not a lot of shops around and not always open (we went on a weekend and a Monday that was a bank holiday) , however other towns close by like Seaton have all amenities needed.

The property was in a lovely village, the apartment clean and inviting and within easy access to other coastal destinati Positive: very clean and tidy apartment throughout. The kitchen had everything you would need. One little problem the shower, on suite to the second bedroom was very snug and sink tiny with a large tap. However, I am a tall and quite large elderly lady. If I was younger and more flexible I don’t think the shower would have been a problem, but the tiny sink with the large tap would still be. The lovely quiet village of Colyton was ideal and because it is situated close to pretty seaside town of Beer ( our intended destination) it was ideal. Negative: See above

The location was perfect, just a short drive to Lyme Regis, which was exactly what we were looking for. Would definitely recommend and happily stay again!

Enjoyed our time at Colton. Positive: Close to Jurassic Coast and some lovely towns. Great facilities and parking.

The apartment was beautifully appointed and just as advertised. In a peaceful, small village setting and with a valuable, designated parking space. The location was ideal to explore the lovely east Devon and west Dorset areas.

We had a lovely 2 nights stay. We booked with less than 24 hours notice. Ben & Nindy had fabulous communication! They kindly went over shortly after we booked to separate the king bed for us and set it up as 2 singles for our children. They also dropped off a high chair for us that we requested. We visited the Kingfisher pub in the village which we were blown away with. It was a small traditional pub with lovely home cooked food! We visited close by Lyme Regis which has some really nice independent shops, cafes & restaurants. We also took a trip to seaton on the tram which our children loved. We would highly recommend Kerens place. It was extremely clean, comfortable and homely.

Keren's place was extremely comfortable and cosy and very well located for exploring the wider area. There are handy shops and two lovely pubs nearby in the village. Keren's instructions were incredibly clear and very helpful for all aspects of our stay. Would strongly recommend staying here.

This is the second time we have stayed in the home. Very spacious and clean property, which was like a home from home. Great amenities, had everything we needed. Lots of fresh towels and a fully equipped kitchen. The shower is very spacious and powerful and we will definitely be back next year. The town is very small and it isn’t possible to get any takeaway food deliveries, so it does require a little planning. However a lovely local pub with delicious food in walking distance. Research into the area, and a car is essential.

We found Karen's place while looking for a place to call home for a couple of days near near the jurassic coast and boy aren't we glad we chose to stay at Keren's place! Lovely, homely apartment with enough space for the 3 of us ( 2 adults and a toddler). The host was very responsive and sent easy check in and parking information well in advance of our stay 👍 The apartment is within 20mins drive of Lyme Regis and the tram to Seaton (less than 10 mins walk) was so lovely, our little boy loved it! Breakfast at the Bear bakery was divine too! shame we had to leave but we'd definitely recommend and would stay there again!

The house is super comfy and well equipped for a family of 3 or 4 ...The location is a bit remote when it comes to delivery apps like just eats or deliveroo so be prepared to cook urself or get some take away..but the host is incredibly helpful and responsive for any requirements which makes the stay worth the time and value

We were 2 couples staying at Karen’s for a nearby wedding and it was perfect for us. 2 bathrooms was ideal, and the flat had everything we needed from and ironing board to salt and pepper (the little things). The hosts were extremely communicative and everything was so easy. Would stay again if in the area.

Absolutely loved this Airbnb. Perfect spot for exploring the local areas. The bathrooms were incredibly clean. The kitchen was easy to work in. Loved it all!

Very comfortable with 2 kids, every little thing you could need was available, beautiful light into the property and great spot for all the things we wanted to do in the area. Kids also loves the Tram to Seaton.

Great location and accommodation. 2 x double beds for our group of 2 couples. 2 x showers too...one ensuite and one just outside bedroom. Plenty of space and very comfortable. Gentle walk to the Tramway allowed us to travel by tram to Seaton, where we walked on the Jurassic coast. There are also 2 local pubs in Colyton and we booked a meal for the Saturday night in the Kingfisher. Food was good with very good portions. Friendly little village and easy to get around. Would definately use this place again. Keren and Will answered queries very quickly and entry into the property was simple. Great stay.

The flat is light, comfortable, clean and with everything you need. Located in a pretty village it's a great place for exploring west Dorset and north Devon. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We stayed at short notice with my brother and his partner and it was perfect! Lovely space for us all and really felt like home! Would recommend to anyone!

Wir waren 3 Nächte dort und es war einfach super! Wir haben uns super wohl und wie Zuhause gefühlt! Alles was wir brauchten war vorhanden und wirklich alles war sehr liebevoll gestaltet! Die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos und uns wurde sofort geantwortet. Durch den praktischen Schlüsselcode gab es keine Schlüsselübergabe was uns zeitlich völlig frei gemacht hat! Können uns auf jeden Fall vorstellen nochmals dort zu schlafen 🤩

Great accommodation, 10 mins walk to Tram, 10 mins car to Seaton, 20 Mins car to Lyme Regis. Great for family get away, had everything you would need and lovely little village.

Kerens place is perfect! Beautifully clean, good pubs and convenience stores in the town. The local chip chop is fantastic! The beds were super-comfy (we slept really well) and the linen and towels were great quality. Two great showers is a real bonus. Parking right outside the door and lovely country walks from the property. So many great beaches nearby (we loved Branscombe & Beer!). Colyton is a very pretty little town. Thanks Keren, we will definitely be back!

Fantastic stay in a quaint little village. Very well decorated upstairs apartment with two lovely bedrooms, a great open living room and just generally lovely feel. If I'm back in the area I'll stay here again - also great for my toddler!

Colyton itself is a wonderful base for exploring the beautiful area. The property suited our needs very well - central location, easy to find and access, spotless on arrival. The flat was nicely decorated, with comfortable furnishings and well kitted out. Communications from the host were timely and informative. My sister has just rebooked for September! Thank you.

Early checkout and late checkin

Great place to stay, the flat was very clean and peaceful. Fantastic location as it’s close to the coast yet also in the countryside. The parking space is invaluable but bus services available if you want a break from driving. Great communication from Keren and Pass the Keys.

The apartment is excellently situated in the centre of Colyton which has local shops and Kingfisher pub. It was easy to find and the private parking was definitely a bonus. The apartment was very clean with a plentiful supply of essentials provided. Easy to visit all the popular tourist spots on the coast. Instructions and communication were all very clear - please update the WiFi instructions! Will definitely book again.

Overall our stay was absolutely great, beautiful location with easy access to so many beaches. The flat is really nice with everything we needed. Contacting Keren-Pass The Keys was not satisfactory, no one answered the emergency number first time we tried it, and when someone did, they were not based locally which was annoying as then they had to work out which property we were in and they didn't really understand the problem. However, once they had contacted the local maintenance person and they got in touch all was well but because of the way contact is made through the site, the conversation became mixed between the three parties, Me, Keren-Pass The Keys and the local maintenance person. In future, we will be staying at locations where the owner of the property is also located near by rather than run by an agent!

This is a great apartment. Spotlessly clean and more spacious than we expected. The parking space was most welcome having stayed in the middle of Colyton previously we know street parking can be difficult. Communication was excellent from start to finish. We definitely hope to book here again.

We had a really lovely stay and the apartment was spotless. Keren-Pass The Keys’s we’re extremely helpful and always available whenever you needed to ask a question. The home was spotless and a real home from home for me, my partner and two girls. Thank you for a lovely four nights away.

Lovely place, quiet and very well kept with all you could need for a relaxed stay. Close to some lovely beaches and Colyton is a fascinating village with an interesting history. As a side note, if you’re a cyclist like me, one of the countries oldest bike shops Soans is 5 metres away just across the road. Worth a look in with a treasure trove of bits and pieces and a very friendly bunch working there. They even have an old inner tube dispenser on the wall outside :)

We stayed in Keren's beautiful flat for two nights and absolutely loved it. The flat was spotless and very well equipped. The kitchen had all the utensils you could need, there were family games, colouring for the kids and even a wide selection of books. There were so many little touches that made it a wonderful stay. There were clear instructions for everything and the host service was excellent. I was provided with clear check in instructions well in advance and even tourist information for the area. The response time was excellent prior to arrival and had I had a question whilst we were there I have no doubt I wouldn't have been left waiting. The location was great, a couple of minutes walk to the nearest shop and a 10 minute drive into Lyme. I would highly recommend to anyone and would book again if we are visiting the area.

A wonderful apartment in beautiful Colyton! Ample rooms, fully equipped kitchen and nice decoration, in a recently renovated property. The village is a great base to explore the area, surrounded by nature everywhere. And Keren was always responsive and offered useful instructions. I highly recommend this place!! We enjoyed our stay in this excellent apartment which was clean and very well equipped. We were visiting relatives who lived nearby who we were able to comfortably entertain. We would be pleased to re book this accommodation in future years.

This place is absolutely perfect. We were visiting family so we know the area and this property was just what we needed. A spacious living area with open plan dining area and great kitchen with absolutely everything we needed. 2 great size bedrooms with one ensuite and a beautiful main bathroom. The whole place was spotless and the owners were very accommodating when we asked for a later check out. We have booked again to return in a couple of weeks and this will certainly be our go to accommodation now.
